Staging has increased in popularity over the years and its more of a necessity in today's market rather then a luxury.  Just about anyone can get there staging licence- which quite honestly is a disappointment for the consumer. This also makes it more competitive for a true talented artist that obtains more so then just this degree. As a former art major, and artist I have and give that special extra to any project.  I have been staging homes for years ; before we even had a label for it.  I have also worked on TV sets and play sets. I am able to give any home its competitive edge with creativity and the ability to utilize what in it and "play" with its contents.  It takes more then just a mere formula and degree  - it takes talent!  And there isn't any degree that can offer you that. 
 
For personal home listings with :The James Madalone Realty Group" at RE/MAX Premier, I prepare you with a "to do list" and am able to supply you with "outside" laborers if you prefer not to do the physical work yourself.  However; I supervise the project from beginning to end to ensure its success and have a hands on approach through out the entire procedure.
 
For specific staging jobs only; I include the use of other local talented stagers.  In this process your quote will include consultation, supervision , material fees, labor fees .  Basically , you leave us and return to a new environment.  Costs vary dependent on the size of the home, and the amount of labor.  What I can guarantee you , is that the price will be a LOT less then a price reduction!!!!! 
 
 
In most cases we work with the contents of the home.  I ask that you remove all valuables and provide us with space or a designated room for storage.  Since you are selling your home, this is an initial period of packing- giving you less to do at a later date.  I start by de-cluttering and de-personalizing your home and giving purpose and flow to each room.  The goal here is to present a house , rather then a home to the consumer and to present it in the most neutral form ; where the consumer can visualize their own belongings and furniture in place.  Remember , when you were searching for a house, it wasn't till later that you turned it into a home.  We too must turn that home back into a house again.
